A carefully researched suggestion for nr 22:

22. This fantasmagoric president is old-fashionista. He asserts he will bring back the USA to its former greatness. It is not clear which Great Era he has in mind, because he is wishy-washy about almost everything, but the word ‘again’ points to somewhere in the past. We might call it ‘new romanticism’, and everything new is hypermodern. Is he really romantic? Someone longing for another, in his or her eyes better world, is definitely romantic. One example makes this clear. Prez Supertroll longs for the good old foggy days of the coal mining industry, with hazy sundowns and fits of coughing up the black slime that has settled in the throat. He longs for burning rivers (like the Cuyahoga river in Randy Newman’s unforgettable song) and barren fields. Romantic? Undeniably so!
