Exactly! As a platoon commander I had 5 M113 light armored tanks, three M115 (infantry, mortar, ground radar) and two tanks with 75mm guns at my disposal. Plus some small trucks for supplies etc. The French AMX tanks were out of service most of the time. Their guns were too big for the carriers, their engines vulnerable, their caterpillar tracks too weak. Very instructive!
