I have always wondered how the couple was squeezed into the tube of the MRI scanner — did the delicto take place before they were squeezed into the tube, was there any privacy apart from the scan, how long did they have to freeze in the tube in order to get a sharp scan, was the first scan immediately sharp or did they have to flagrante delicto several times? How can we be sure this one case can be generalized to all delicti?
I presume they didn’t snuck into the machine to do a bit of naughty, but we do not know for sure this wasn’t a couple with claustrophilia. Speleologists?
All in all I am excited — no, not in that way — I have opened the archives of the JIP for you.
It has given me tons of pleasure too. I have to thank the Director in Chief of the National Physical Planning Agency in The Hague for allowing the Library to file the magazine. That was in 1977. I still remember the first article I read. It reported a research project aimed at explanation of the Eastward tilting of the North American plate. I am tempted to let you guess first, but I will give the answer.
The research revealed that the weight of the stacks of volumes of National Geographic in East-American homes, with articles about earthquakes and volcanism, pushed the plate down, thus causing an extra uplift of the Rockies.
