I probably mentioned it before on Medium: a Dutch writer — Marcel Möring -wrote: writing poems means waiting near to the word. Light rhyme often comes easy, the depth and scope of serious poetry asks for patience and perseverance. ‘Blood’ is not a simple theme, and certainly not a lighthearted one.
