Over here in the tiny little Kingdom of the White Oranges I am triggered by this image and its caption, Hex. I am no fierce fan of Haiku in non-syllable languages like English or Nederlands (Dutch) but it certainly is fun to try to compose some. Here is the slightly provocating but juicy result of my first try in English ever:

Counting syllables
In search for deeper wisdom?
Infathomable!
What do I look for
In this box of 5–7–5 ?
Tell me, Pandora!
Haiku’s: nonsense

But it is much fun

Procrustean martyrdom
The sound of one hand
Applauding silence, that
Is haiku’s music
