Over here, on the first ever rainy Christmas Day, we are all for it. But we have to add:

Two reasons I had to give up cats in our household. My wife simply forbade a next generation, after Doerak, Dolphy, Sien, Miw and Knoop. They all got very old. All died before my eyes on the vet’s table, by the way.
