Thank you, Tasneem. I was actually thinking about a miraculous 135 year old tree in the gardens of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam (in itself a box full of miracles) that has been planted by the architect of the building before the construction started, but the story of the origin of gold and platinum somehow overruled that. Here is the tree. I often sit in its shadow and watch the people from all over the world stroll through the garden. The photo is outdated. A surprise fountain was built in the foreground. In summer the air is filled with shrieks and triumphant cries of children and grown ups getting wet.
