Very sensible children over there in Brexannia, I must admit. I found them remarkably lean too, almost skinny, like their parents. After reading I understood better why they are not like the poor stuffed turkeys we witness in too many other countries. They use their food to correct their parent’s behavior. Admirable, scone-throwing is less harmful than stone-throwing. More civilized too.
Thank you for your report thus far, Allan. Be prepared for France though. You will have to eat snails and the entrails of cows and pigs. If children use any corrective food over there, it will be snail-shells and clam shells. Don’t try absinth, even under coercion. You will become blind. Do try the coq-au-vin though, le tarte à la maison, have your croissants à la mode, i.e with a big cup of coffee with milk to baptize the croissants. Sorry, wrong translation. To dip your croissants into and slobber them alive. Bon voyage!
