Waiting for the writer’s block to end

In response to Harper Thorpe’s very inspiring one lined poetry prompt. I have several ideas waiting for The Words, but I am still waiting for them. Which is actually a definition of writing poetry: ‘waiting near the words’ (by Marcel Möring, over here, in the cute, momentarily white clad and absolutely tiny Kingdom of the Oranges) a well known Dutch writer. I am hesitating near that definition. Would ‘near by’, ‘alongside’, ‘close to’ be better translations? ‘For’ is not precise enough. That means ‘waiting till they arrive’, but they are already here, close to me, ready to be found.
